DUST: Each task does generate some dust. The majority of the dust happens during the demo. However, finishing the walls, installing cabinets and countertops does produce a thinner dust that usually gets everywhere. This will occur all throughout the project duration, as part of the walls are worked on and sanded almost to the end of the project.

To minimize the spread of dust our contractors will install plastic covers on door ways, closets and bookshelves. These help to contain the dust as much as possible. The thinner dust is the trickiest part.

You will need to deep clean your home after we are done, to make sure all the dust is removed from everywhere.

NOISE: Noise should be expected all throughout the project duration. With the loudest noise coming from the Demo portion of the project, which occurs at the beginning. After demo, You shall expect noise to come from vacuums, tools & tile, cabinet and stone cutting and modifying.

The least noisy process of a renovation would be painting, which mostly occurs towards the end of the project.

WATER SHUT OFF: There are times when the water will need to be shut off in order to work on the plumbing behind the walls. This should only take effect during working hours and will always require building approval.

MINIMAL VENTILATION: To avoid dust movement after settling, the windows are usually kept nearly shut. Creating minimum ventilation around the work areas.

After the dust settles, it may become hazardous for wind to enter the unit, as it can make the settled dust fly all over the room. For this reason, oftentimes, the windows are kept at a minimum open position.

Design Duration: The design timeline varies according to the size of the room, how much information you may already have and how quickly decisions are made rewardingly preferences of your space. This process can last from 2-3 months up to years, depending on each client. Building Approval: Each project differs slightly, depending on the building requirements. An alteration agreement and/or decoration agreement must be approved prior to setting a start date for the renovation project. Permits must be obtained, depending on what modifications the project may require. Each permit that is furnished by the city must be inspected prior to closing the project in its entirety. Permits and inspections are pulled by each licensed contractor associated with the project. Ordering Cabinets: Usual turn around time for cabinet fabrication is 4-6wks, from Ordering to Receiving them at the site.  This can vary according to which company is chosen to fabricate your custom cabinets and any modifications made after  the original order is submitted.  

Site work: Estimated 6-8 Weeks per room.  

The duration of the project always varies according to site conditions. Often times, modifications of the plan occur after  the walls are opened up, during the demolition process. Depending on what is found and the work to be done to restore  the condition of plumbing, electrical and other important parts of the renovation; the time duration is always given as an estimate to be determined after the project begins. There are many reasons that could cause delays. Our team works  diligently to adhere to deadlines accordingly.
